COMMUNION SERVICE

"And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come." 1 Corinthians 11:24-26
It’s a privilege to participate in the Lord’s Supper together and be reminded of the tremendous sacrifice heaven made on our behalf when God sent His Son into the world to lay down His life for the sins of the world.
Next Sabbath, during the worship service, we will share in the communion together.
Because we practice “open communion,” anyone who appreciates the sacrifice of Christ and has appropriated His merits on their behalf are welcome to participate. Please keep in mind that the ordinance of humility (foot washing service) immediately precedes communion.
"So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you." John 13:12-15
